Register to join EarthGen and Clark County Green Schools virtually at the Annual Clark County Student Summit. This Summit will help prepare the environmental leaders of tomorrow!
The Summit will introduce students to the variety of careers in the environmental field by hearing from professionals and experts. Possible professionals include landscape architects, authors, arborists, and more! Students will have the opportunity to engage in conversation with the professionals.
Students will have the opportunity to connect, share, and learn from their peers in Clark County. During the share-out session, students have the option to present the work they’ve done over the past year or speak about work they plan to do in the future. This is an opportunity for students to get inspired by peers in their community. A slide deck will be shared in the prepacket where students can share either a project they have done or one that they hope to do.
Breakout sessions include activities by the Zinn Project and EnRoads. En-ROADS is a global climate simulator that allows users to explore the impact of roughly 30 policies—such as electrifying transport, pricing carbon, and improving agricultural practices—on hundreds of factors like energy prices, temperature, air quality, and sea level rise.
