Nayiri Haroutunian
As Executive Director, Nayiri leads EarthGen’s strategic vision, organizational growth, and partnerships, working to strengthen support for young people, educators, and communities across Washington. With more than a decade at EarthGen, she brings deep institutional knowledge, a collaborative leadership style, and a steadfast commitment to preparing young people to lead environmental action in their communities.
Nayiri holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Iowa and a Master of Science in Natural Resources & Environment from the University of Michigan. Outside of work, she finds joy in learning new recipes, stumbling through salsa dancing classes, and rediscovering natural spaces with her young daughter.
