EarthGen is seeking a collaborative and strategic leader to be its next Executive Director, leading our efforts to grow our impact in the years ahead. A Washington State based nonprofit, EarthGen brings locally relevant science-based learning opportunities to students and school communities who are farthest from educational and environmental justice. Because of EarthGen, students all over Washington state are learning about the effects of climate change and other environmental issues on their own communities, taking action, and becoming leaders for change.
Bilingual Education Coordinator – Columbia Basin
In this new role, the Bilingual Education Coordinator – Columbia Basin will help develop, and implement EarthGen’s outreach and programming, while offering guidance and support to students, teachers, and school administrators in the Columbia Basin region. The focus of this position is to engage and support educators and students in EarthGen’s programs, with a specific emphasis on bilingual environmental education, including migrant and native education. Guided by EarthGen’s organizational values of equity and collaboration, the Bilingual Education Coordinator – Columbia Basin will help build a local network of school and community partners to create new learning opportunities for K-12 audiences with an emphasis on black, indigenous, and people of color (BIPOC) students.
