BIPOC Voices Asynchronous Course for Western Washington Educators

The BIPOC Voices project originated as a collaboration between EarthGen and ESD 112 that is supported by the College Success Foundation. It includes a set of videos featuring Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) professionals working in STEM fields and highlighting their unique career journeys. EarthGen has also developed an activity guide to accompany the videos, which includes suggestions for facilitating reflection, discussion, and hands-on activities related to these videos. Our hope is that these resources cultivate all students’ interest in community-centered STEM-related career pathways and their understanding of how BIPOC individuals and communities have always contributed to collective STEM endeavors.

Then, they will share their experiences implementing these resources with the EarthGen team through a survey and optional focus group sessions.
