EarthGen offers Certification trainings to help support environmental action in school communities. Join us for the Central Puget Sound regional training on February 15th from 4:30 – 6:30 pm at Maple Elementary Library to jump-start your action project. This Certification training is specifically designed for educators in Seattle, Auburn, Tukwila, Highline, and other King County school districts. This is an opportunity to:
- Discover Certification options and the six-step process
- Explore EarthGen’s Carbon Calculator Tool, which will help your students quantify their project’s impacts.
- Build community among educators
- Meet and learn from community partners
When
February 15 @ 4:30 pm – 6:30 pm
Educators Receive:
2 STEM clock hours for attending, courtesy of EarthGen
3 STEM clock hours for completing an EarthGen School Certification by June 30th
You will also receive tailored support in continuing sustainability efforts on your campus. Participating educators will leave this training prepared to complete a Certification project and will have made connections with local community members who support their efforts. We’d love to see experienced Green Team Leaders as well as new faces. We encourage educators to attend in pairs or teams for deeper engagement.
