Come learn with EarthGen in this virtual professional development opportunity designed for teachers in NEWESD and ESD 123.
Through asynchronous and synchronous learning, participants will have a chance to authentically engage with activities and experts as they grow their understanding of how climate change has and will impact their community. Analyze and interpret recent climate science data with a climate scientist and lecturer from the University of Washington and progress understanding on the most salient climate change indicators in central Washington. Teachers will explore the complexities of wildfires, air quality, and human mobility as exacerbated by climate change and what action they can take with their students.
