Come learn with EarthGen in this virtual professional development opportunity designed for educators in ESD 171, 105, 101, 123. Through asynchronous and synchronous learning, participants will have a chance to authentically engage with activities and experts as they grow their understanding of how climate change and climate justice has and will impact their community. Analyze and interpret recent climate science data with a climate scientist and lecturer from the University of Washington and progress understanding on the most salient climate change indicators in Eastern Washington. In this STEM Seminar, teachers will explore their own relationships with waste. While investigating the complexities of waste and justice as exacerbated by climate change and what action they can take with their students.
