Viva Farms will share how they partner with school districts to increase awareness and engagement of students in local agriculture.

Washington State Sustainable School Food Peer Learning events are intended for all school and food industry professionals, including nutrition services, facilities, administrative staff, food producers, and other key stakeholders. These peer learning events are hosted by the Washington State Sustainable School Food Steering Committee and EarthGen.
Peer learning events are an opportunity for Washington state sustainable school food stakeholders to learn from local success stories and circulate resources and tips with one another. There will also be time for Q & A, community announcements, and experience sharing.
