EarthGen offers regional Certification trainings to help support environmental action in school communities. Join us for the Yakima regional training on February 1st to jump start your action project. This is an opportunity to:
- Build community among educators
- Discover Certification options (both in-person and remote!)
- Meet and learn from local partners
- Explore EarthGen’s Carbon Calculator Tool, which will help your students quantify their project’s impacts.
When
February 1 @ 4:00 pm – 5:30 pm
You will also receive tailored support in continuing sustainability efforts with your students, whether it’s at school or at home. Participating educators will leave this training prepared to complete a Certification project and will have made connections with local community members who support their efforts. We’d love to see experienced Green Team Leaders as well as new faces. We encourage educators to attend in pairs or teams for deeper engagement.
A total of up to 5 free STEM clock hours will be provided courtesy of EarthGen. These hours will be given for .5 hours of prep work, 1.5 hours during the live training and 3 hours of optional project implementation work.
