Foundations of Climate Change (Asynchronous Course – Join At Any Time)

Registration is open on a rolling basis now through June 7. Join EarthGen's virtual training for Washington teachers to explore the impact of climate change on your community. This training will explore recent climate science data, aligning with Next Generation Science Standards concepts. Teachers will learn from professionals in their region who are doing work to combat this climate change impact in an effort to prepare them with resources to spur action in their community.

Join EarthGen's virtual professional development, the final session of a three-part series designed for educators in ESD 171, 105, 101, and 123. Through both asynchronous and synchronous learning, engage authentically with activities and experts to deepen your understanding of how climate change and climate justice impact your community. Analyze recent climate science data with a University of Washington climate scientist, and in the STEM Seminar, explore the complexities of waste, justice, and climate change, identifying actionable steps for your students.
