This academic year, EarthGen will offer a fully asynchronous course around our School Certification program to encourage students to take environmental action at their school. The goal of this opportunity is to introduce educators and school leaders to EarthGen School Certification and all the associated resources – Certification materials, a Carbon Calculator Tool, and the six steps for completing an EarthGen School Certification project, beginning with preparing Green Team Leaders to take environmental action with their students.

- This course takes about two hours to complete
- Registration will be on a rolling basis and you will receive an invitation from Canvas to join the asynchronous course shortly after registering

Educators will leave this opportunity with a framework for encouraging student-led actions and the support to create, implement, and complete an EarthGen Certification project which is recorded in our Report Card. This opportunity is available throughout the school year. Clock hours will be processed on a monthly basis as participants complete the course.
Upon full completion of this course, educators will receive 2 STEM Clock Hours
When educators complete an EarthGen School Certification, and it is awarded, educators will receive an additional 3 STEM Clock Hours.
