EarthGen recently brought together educators, partners, and community members to celebrate and reflect on two years of impactful programming designed to support migrant, multilingual, and Native students across Washington state. This work was made possible through a close partnership with and support from the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI), and centered on building culturally responsive, place-based learning experiences.
The event highlighted key successes and meaningful connections developed through these efforts. Educators shared how they have brought this work to life by designing curriculum that honors students’ identities and lived experiences.
Attendees also participated in conversations about what comes next, reimagining how this work can continue to grow and respond to the changing needs of students and schools. The gathering served as both a celebration and a call to continue building toward a more inclusive and equitable education system through collaboration and innovation.
