La Center High School is the first school to earn Platinum Certification in Clark County and holds the distinction of being one of very few Platinum certified schools in the entire state of Washington. Led by their dedicated teacher and 2018 Green Medalist recipient, Rebecca Morris, generations of students have tackled a number of different environmental challenges from creating school gardens with native plants and rain barrel irrigation to more efficient waste and recycling sorting and beyond!
Students at La Center continue to demonstrate exemplary environmental leadership. Check out this video from current La Center student, Bella, to learn more about how La Center students serve as an example of excellence for other students across the state.
