The YMCA Earth Service Corps Environmental Leaders Summit aims to encourage youth voice in environmental discussions, provide opportunities for environmental education and inspire these young people to take actions, both big and small, to address environmental issues in their community. They strive to frame events and activities in a positive way that empowers youth to see the impact they can have while adhering to the concept of thinking globally and acting locally. EarthGen will be helping to facilitate table group discussions with youth about air quality and air pollution as an environmental justice issue and will be connecting with youth at the Opportunity Fair!
