Happy Teacher Appreciation Week! We want to extend a big thank you to all the amazing teachers across our state. We appreciate all that you do. To showcase our appreciation, we’re sharing these words from Becky Bronstein, WGS’ Program Coordinator.
This week’s featured activity invites students to go on a Waste Adventure. It is suitable for students in grades 3 through 6 and curious learners of all ages! In Waste Adventures, students practice their math and writing skills while learning more about where their waste goes after it leaves their home.
Our education staff is creating and curating a library of resources to support environmental learning while we’re all at home. In our Nature Scavenger Hunt, students observe plants, animals, and weather while getting fresh air in the neighborhood. Download and print our grades K-2 and grades 3-5 versions.
