Student Summit Teaches the Power of Collective Action

At the 10th annual Clark County Student Summit hosted by EarthGen, Clark County, and other local partners, youth forged an inspired community of environmental leaders.

Accustomed to working in Green Teams at their individual schools, 103 students from 23 schools shared successes, challenges, and advice with each other and local experts. Youth gained practical resources for action and bonded over their experiences during the Summit’s workshops and poster sessions.

“Students are effective environmental leaders because they can educate not only peers, but also their families and neighbors to make an impact.”
